| Rebecca Collins: Saying
something like, "I'm not going to the dentist anymore.
I'm tired of giving money to Big Dental."
Geoff Herbach: An emotional
nose sigh, which is not angry. Sigh from happy, sad, turned
on, completely overcome... Beautifully emotional nose sigh.
Ben Lang: Enjoying a hearty
rye bread with cheese. Needs to be open faced with no mayo,
no butter, possibly spicy mustard. Cheese is pretty open only
nothing overly
processed like Kraft singles.
Stephen McClurg: Im going
to approach this question from two angles:
1) obscure in the sense of not easily being understood.
2) obscure meaning inconspicuous.
The first thing that a woman could
do to turn me on is to have been a part of the print or film
industry before I was born. Im thinking along the lines
of Bettie Page, Rita Calderoni, or Frida Kahlo here. For me,
these women dont exist as they were anymore because
I am turned on by images of them and not these women themselves.
Its a lustful nostalgia; I am turned on by what I never
even had the chance of experiencing.
The second thing that a woman could
do to turn me on is squint. I dont mean the coy, eyelashy
squinting either. Im talking about the news anchor squint,
the engaged in reading Proust or Beckett squint.
Keith Pille: There's this look
in and around the eyes that indicates that there's a lot going
on up there. That's the important thing. Like, if it looks
like she's up to something.
Don Pizarro: All the little
non-verbal things one normally does to let me know that she's
really turned on, especially the sounds. I don't mean dirty
talk, fake hardcore porn moans, or some slinky dance. I mean
all of the little cues to let you know there's one and only
one thing on her mind at that moment. That, or slowly eating
an ice cream cone.
Simon Riordan: As the deadline
approaches to leave, a woman's preparations become rushed.
As she is frantically getting ready to leave, she will be
walking around, looking for whatever it is that she cannot
find, simultaneously putting in earrings at the same time
-- with head cocked to one side. Turning her head to one side
is not necessary to accomplish this task, but it makes it
very sexy. In addition, even though she is using both hands
to put in the earrings, she is still capable of completing
other tasks that require the use of her hands (how she does
it, I have no clue).
Jonathan Shipley: Bathe.
Neha Upadhyaya Lang: If love
is blind than lust must be all eyes. What does it take to
make me swoon with the desire to caress a certain body part
or place gentle kisses
upon a man? Well, there is one thing a man can do that simultaneously
makes
me sweat and drool. When they do this it is so unbelievably
attractive I have to take a moment to recognize I just witnessed
a super hunky move then s-l-o-w-l-y release a deep breath
of appreciation for the opposite sex. What is this move? It
is when a man flexes his jaw muscles. What is it about that
subtle tightening of the side of a mans face that turns
me on? The subconscious nature of that action seems to reflect
a hidden inner
strength of a man and that turns me on. Plus it is just plain
old sexy.
Amethyst Vineyard: This is
a really hard question. I've been thinking about this all
night.
Things like "I like it when they like me" keep popping
into my head, but even that isn't really true. So, I'm not
sure if these fit the definition of 'obscure', but they are
the best I could come up with. I love ties. I think all men
should wear them all the time. They draw they eye in the right
direction, you know? When I see a man in a tie, I want to
take it off of him. Also, I like it when a man can do something,
anything, with a look of concentration and competence on his
face, be it trying to figure out why copious black smoke is
issuing from under the hood of my car, restringing a bass,
folding a map the correct way, whatever. I also enjoy having
my hair sniffed because yes, it does smell delicious and I
worked hard to get it that way.
